Lomamokkila provides an excellent setting for a great holiday in Savonlinna. You can choose Bed&Breakfast accommodation in high-quality rooms or stay in our lakeside cottages enjoying the peace and quiet of nature throughout the year. We also offer delicious home-cooked meals made from our own products.

Holiday in Finnish Lakeland

In Lomamokkila, you can enjoy a relaxing holiday in an authentic farm milieu, take a trip to the lake on a rowing boat, or visit our sauna by the lake. The surrounding region offers plenty to see and experience – you can reach Savonlinna in 15 minutes by car and Punkaharju and the National Parks of Linnansaari and Kolovesi in just over 30 minutes.

Looking for a great breakfast and a good night’s sleep?

In Lomamokkila, you can choose your accommodation from a variety of rooms. For example, you can choose a romantic room in the main building or a cosy room in the guesthouse in the middle of the fields. The room price includes breakfast, bedlinen and final cleaning. Guests staying in the rooms have free access to the kitchen of the Lappish kota hut, rowing boats, and the saunas by the lake and in the farm courtyard. There is free WiFi for all guests in the premises.

Private beach, sauna and boat

Lomamokkila offers you accommodation in different kinds of cottages. You can choose either a fully equipped cottage or a traditional, more modestly equipped summer cottage. Each cottage has its own private beach, rowing boat, sauna and beddings. You can also order a baby cot, a bedlinen package (sheets and a towel) as well as the final cleaning from us. In addition, you can make a reservation for breakfast and dinner, which are served in the main building.

From one generation to another

Lomamokkila has a long tradition of hosting guests. Today, you are greeted by owners in the fourth generation. The farm has received recognition for its top-quality work, and it has been awarded, for example, the title of the Rural Tourism Entrepreneur of the year and the agricultural Pro Maaseutu prize.

Our second destination, B&B Taipaleenniemi, offers you idyllic room accommodation in a historic environment by Lake Saimaa, just a 10-minute drive from Lomamokkila and 20 minutes from Savonlinna. In B&B Taipaleenniemi, you can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of our forest getaway, take a trip to the lake on a rowing boat, or enjoy the steams of our lakeside sauna.
